Tears and truths with Kerry Spalding

Your Migraine Story Matters - Series 2 Episode 4

Kerry and I met in real life the other weekend after having had met on Instagram a few years ago. During our first in person meeting we realised we both started to share our story around the same time (2020).

It was a shock realisation to discover that Kerry had kept quiet about her illness for such a long time - in much the same way I had. And where she sees her recovery journey having had first begun.

Though I have started the conversation around the journey of recovery, I had not looked at recovery in this way before.

All I can say to Kerry’s story is WOW. WOW. WOW.

What a phenomenal story.

There are so many tangents we could go off that we plan to record further episodes. And even thought this one was going to be something else entirely.

It begins however, where it begins. There are tears. There are truths. And an expression of what truly matters most right at the end.

Because we were in person you might find us talking to one another instead of to you in the camera so you might prefer to listen to this one over watch. As always, these come to you unedited and unfiltered. We show up (unapologetically) as we are.

Kerry and I finished our time together, attending an event with The Migraine Trust, not far from where I live (East Yorkshire in England). The next event is themed on hormones and is online. Join us?

If you were to ask Kez anything about what she shares here, what would you want to know?

Above all else, remember:

Share this podcast with fellow migraine warriors. Let’s join our hands together and unite together in circle.
