@Eva Lydon @Amber Horrox this was so good, well done. I had no idea so many people suffered from migraines (i remember my mum lying completely still in a dark room as a child for hours). Also the insights on care and compassion are completely transferrable for all of us.
Thank you so much for tuning in. Yes, it’s the most complex neurological disease yet also the most common. Affecting one billion of us globally and little to no interest from a medical perspective.
So many of us have lived our lives suffering in silence. I hope your mum went on to find some respite from migraine in the end.
Oh my god... where are my eyebrows?! 🙈🤣 This was such a lovely chat and I’m so glad we were brave enough to just put it out there 👍🥰 Thank you Amber for making me feel so at ease and welcomed with open arms 🤗❤️😊
Ha ha I haven’t looked over it! I shared one snippet of it in notes and could have criticised a lot but I chose to lean into the showing up as we are. I’m so proud of this!
I’ve received an email with 3 more snippets of hoops suggestions which are great for promoting on other social platforms! Substack video is GRRREAT !!!!
Migraine. What a flucking pain. Have had migraines since I was 25 and I am really glad to say they’ve dropped off the last few years. My sister’s had them since 8 😨 It’s a shocking fucking disease and I have too many friends who suffer.
It got really really bad before it dropped off and I did a whole range of alternative therapies that I feel helped. It's occasional now rather than regular.
Well I’d love to hear your share on that! That would really be of benefit and add value to listeners. Alternative therapies and their role in helping is something I’d want to delve into. Would you like to jump on a zoom to share your story in the new year? The idea is for it to be more of a chat amongst friends than a formal interview. Which I’m pretty sure came across in the one you’ve recently watched where we just turned up as we were 😆
Sorry to be a complete pain but could you resend the email - I’ve had issues with my email hence the delay, but also deleted it in error and am unable to find it. Thank you🙏

Thank you for landing in this space🩵 you describe this god awful disease in a way that only one whose experience it can.
I’m so relieved to hear yours dropped off. If you and/or your sister would like to join me on Your Migraine Story Matters, you’d be very welcome.
Oh, thanks! I'll ask my sister.

I’ve sent it but my service provider is having glitches! Will try again from another account!
Got it! I’ve replied with a suggested date to zoom chat 😍
I’d love that. 🥰
Amazing!! That is fantastic 🤩
what is the best way for me to contact you? If preferred, send me an email to amberhorrox@yahoo.co.uk and we’ll get a date arranged.

You’re so good at the chats! 💚
Aww thanks! I’m feeling really confident with it all now. Whereas earlier this year I wasn’t! Big transformation❤️🔥
You’d be great at chats in real life but I’m glad it’s getting that way on camera/podcasts!
