What do I want you to do next?
So, you've received my welcome email, read a few posts, got to know me and love what I do. What next?
A whole bunch of creatives who ‘love to write’ got together with
on Monday. All so that we could learn how to . What a way to start the new week. And what a great opportunity for me to share with you what I discovered in our journaling together.
Firstly, I’d love to welcome all members (new and existing) to the Warrior Within community.
A space I’ve created on the back of burnout and chronic ill health having paved the way for me to live a life of full self-expression.
I’ve been wanting to thank you for joining me here for a while. And to remind you that:
Y O U M A K E A D I F F E R E N C E B Y B E I N G H E R E
Each week you receive your copy of “Warrior Weekly” to your inbox. Incidentally, did you know there is an app where you can turn on smart notifications to read my content? Check it out and download it here.
You might have seen that I’ve made some big changes to my publication recently, including copying thought-provoking questions peppered throughout so that they also appear at the end. Thereby, creating a space for you to reflect with an invitation to share what comes up for you in the comments section.
My biggest passion by far is to help others who live with chronic illness find their voice and this is one way in which I encourage that.
There’s a suggestion in the welcome email to read the following posts. Each will help
you get to know me a lot better
gift insight into the treacherous journey I have faced and
detail more about how I turned chronic illness into chronic wellness.
1. Going Against the Grain is the first blog I wrote especially for you. It answers the question I was repeatedly asked at a time where I found myself completely disabled by illness: “what do you do all day?”
2. The 2 highest read posts:
Kicking Caffeine and Cocktails
Baring all About the Breakdown
and
3. My theory on why chronic illness is most prevalent in women
As a side note, I am not medically trained and, as such, do not offer medical advice. What I do share with you comes from my own lived experience and the extensive research I have done and continue to do.
So, what do I want you to do now?
I want to hear all about you and would love to get to know you in the same way you have me. Go right ahead and introduce yourself in the comments. Share what brought you here.
Anytime you feel drawn to, I’d love for you to share your reflections and what comes up for you each week in the comments section of Warrior Weekly. Chat with other warriors here too and further build on your own support and community networks as you do.
Ask me anything! I can’t promise to have all the answers but I can promise to share what comes through energetically.
I would love for you to share Warrior Within with others you feel will benefit from life on the other side of chronic suffering.
Let me know if you’d like to collaborate in any way. So far I have been interviewed on podcasts, asked to write guest blog posts and will soon be interviewing migraine warriors for my own podcast.
Feel your feelings. I want you to feel supported, seen, heard and understood.
One of the things I wrote down in the group journaling sesh is that I want you to get so much from me and what I share that you never have to work with me.
But for those of you who do feel a calling to taking your journey deeper and further, there are options available to you in the form of:
A 2-month online journey: The Warrior’s Path (1:1)
Paid for membership space (coming soon)
Retreats With Me in person (1:1)
My services are not intended for everyone, and I never want you to feel that I am selling to you. You will know if my paid for offerings are in alignment because you will feel a full body yes. If it’s not a full body yes, then it’s a no.
I’ll be sharing more detail on how you can work with me in future posts. In the meantime, if you feel drawn to you can email me at amberhorrox@yahoo.co.uk.
What an inspiring journey you've shared! It's truly heartening to see a community of creatives coming together to explore self-expression and wellness. I appreciate the thoughtful words. Keep shining Amber.
You are such an inspiration Amber. Keep shining your light for all ✨✨✨
