Warrior Weekly:
Winding down as I head into my ten day window of periods, pampering and saying no to anything that does not support the autumn/winter phase of my cycle.
Monday – shared my first article on Linked In. Not sure many read it with me only recently starting to find my feet there, but it felt good to have a space for content that is longer than a post yet shorter than a blog. You can read it here.
Bodywork channelling treatment on a client who regularly receives channelled messages around the massive work project/business venture she successfully launched at the back end of last year. Did you know that bodywork channelling can be a huge asset to your business as well as expansive healing? An area I’d like to write about yet can be tricky to articulate.
Ended the day with my period pamper. A pedicure, facial and brows. A time and investment I’ve been making for myself over the ten-day window I experience where my health is challenged each month.
Tuesday – catching up with a regular pedicure client. Some focus and attention on the part of her feet that connects to her hip a while back led to healing the pain in her left-hand side completely. She later researched some information that connected her to the piriformis muscle on the right-hand side after getting nowhere with the doctors. Doing so led to her starting some hip opening stretches and she’s now experiencing improvement of around 90% as a result.
Caught up with a friend I haven’t spoken to in a couple of years in the afternoon and had tea at R’s. Starting to feel irritable and noticed I am able to love my way through feelings that are often labelled as negative. Can only be a win as far as my improving health is concerned.
Wednesday – no yoga online this morning so I booked in a floatation tank experience instead. Didn’t go as deep into meditation as last time, but felt really in flow with the workings of all the magic it has to offer. It’s a different experience to other healing modalities I have in place but just as big on the results side of it so a practice I’ll continue with monthly.
After walking Milo I saw a new pedicure client. Worked on the part of her feet that connects to her sciatic nerve, hips, back and shoulders. She rebooked again for next month and added a facial to the experience. Left feeling invigorated as I often do when giving treatments.
Family tea out for R’s mum’s birthday. He said it would be bedlam, all his brothers and their families being there. It reminded me of a regular night out with a sales team from back in the day. We were always the loudest group there.
Thursday – felt tired today. Definitely in autumn week of my menstrual cycle. Got my home spic and span ready for this weekend’s visitor. She arrived this afternoon and we caught up before I went to see a regular bodywork client. Because I live in a holiday home, friends who visit feel at ease here and are happy to hang around whilst I nip out to work.
Friday – leisurely morning talking visions and manifestations. Getting clear on wants, needs and tapping into our ability to thrive. Walked into town for some sourdough. Brunch and afternoon on the balcony with my friend. Facial Friday! What a treat 😊 “I know its just a facial” she said “but its sooo much more than that”. Yes, yes it is.
Saturday – car boot ready! Made £27 before I even started. A fabulous morning in the glorious sunshine and a chilled afternoon. Officially in winter week, day 1 of my period. Head been great so far. Started a new book about a yearlong adventure called “Are we nearly there yet?”, written by a parent who took his kids out of school for a year so they could all go travelling as a family. Epic.
Sunday – I made R a travel vision frame for a house warming present at a craft workshop this morning. All being well, he moves into his new build home next month. Really pleased with how it’s turned out, excelled myself even. Stopped off for Sunday lunch on the way home. Head not so good today so ended up in bed all afternoon and evening once Beth went home.
