Over the past year or 2 I have been working with
, The Visibility Witch at .Our working relationship first began when she sent me a card reading as a Christmas present telling me the lovers card had been pulled and that
“a significant soul mate connection is coming in”
and the message that would later become foundational to the publishing of my first book:
“allow yourself to dream”.
That same night I had a dream that had nothing to do with the message on repeat:
“you’re going to meet somebody soon. You’re going to meet somebody soon”.
It was repeating so many times I thought “I best write that one down. It seems like its really trying to get my attention”.
That Friday, I was introduced to my partner and we met for a walk together the next day.
The following spring I booked Katie in for a card reading the fortnight prior to submitting Hay House book proposal for Migraine & Me. She encouraged me to reach out to a book group on Facebook (which turned out to be Write That Book Masterclass Alumni) and ask for their support and cheers and really celebrate the success of the book proposal. There was to be another publisher that I would be introduced to. Months later when I received notification of the winner, I didn’t feel any rejection at all. I only felt more confident that a book deal was coming.
When I found myself procrastinating over the summer, I returned to Katie for another card reading which helped enormously in getting me back on track with writing my book. The guidance I received continued long into my completing the first draft and realising I had written what Hay House deem to be “the book before the book”. The book is not to be a memoir in the traditional sense, it is to be a “how to” guide. Although it was a lot for me to take in and accept, Katie’s guidance has led to me developing a book that has peaked the interest of global publishers, Hay House.
During my time working with The Visibility Witch, she has since gone on to develop a program called The Visibility Book. I’ve known for a long while that I need to build my tribe, grow my platforms and reach those I am uniquely here to serve. Specifically, migraine warriors who are waking up to the truth that they matter, their health matters.
Prior to this realisation, my main agenda has been to show up and write. With a knowing that I am here to write books. I haven’t established any platform with a focus on growing my numbers.
What’s happened in this space is that the connection I have with my audience is deep and meaningful. My agenda has become my reality with the publishing of my first book “Unleashing My Inner Power: Daring to Dream & Flying Fearless”. An e-book that has been published with Partnership Publishing on Amazon after winning a competition with them that my published author friend introduced me to!
Over summer, I embarked on the journey of The Visibility Book, consisting a card reading, the book and 3 online sessions uncovering my block to visibility, what caused it and how to heal and overcome it . I now have The Visibility Book to keep and to continue working with.
During this journey, my views and engagements of blogs have crept up and consistently been higher than my previous highest read last year. I am feeling more confident about who I am here to serve, what’s stopping me connecting with them and have been doing the practices Katie shared with me so that I can heal and overcome that.
I used to think card reading was a load of rubbish – until I saw it in action one day on retreat. I remember looking into coaching in my early 30’s and I wouldn’t pay the money. At no point did I check in with the needs I had, never mind consider putting in measures to help support these needs.
Last weekend me and my partner sat in bed working through the prompts that Katie shares as part of her Visibility Guidance each new moon here on
. He’s a free subscriber about to embark on the journey that The Visibility Book takes you on. I prebooked a date in the future as soon as she opened up a paid offering. A date that aligned with my availability and commitment for it because I knew I needed the additional support and was ready for it.When I mentioned part 2 of this post (which is what I initially sat down here to write!) in our Healing Through Writing space the other Monday everyone made a note of the prompt to sit with in reflection:
Who Am I Uniquely Here To Serve?
The idea to invite
into our space to speak to us about this very topic sprang up.Katie will be joining us on Wednesday 27th November @ 7:30pm to discuss with us how we can be visible to those we are uniquely here to serve and how to make sure our brand is aligned with them in a way that speaks directly to those we are uniquely here to serve.
When you consider who you are uniquely here to serve, who comes to mind?
