Healing Through Writing: A Sanctuary for Becoming the Author of Your Healing

From the moment I found out that what had happened to me in 2018 was not in isolation and was, in fact, affecting many millions of us around the world, my community vision became clear.
My vision exploded into those of us living with invisible illness - particularly those of us living migraine and chronic pain who are taking a more holistic approach to our health - rising in unison, together.
For so long, I felt cast aside by society, as if slung on to a scrap heap. It felt like I had been forgotten about, as though I didn’t belong. I want for no-one else to feel this way, though perhaps you hard relate?
It’s because of this, the vision I hold is for us to join hands with one another, unite, helping one another to our feet as we rise.

The Purpose
Healing Through Writing is an annual (or monthly) membership where part of its purpose is to:
connect you to your voice
help you reclaim your power from the root and
take you on a journey towards living a life of full self-expression.
Most Mondays at 10am (GMT//BST - 3:30pm IST) and at 4pm (GMT/BST - 11am ET / 8am PT) we gather together online for some gentle Healing Through Writing. Operating on a 3 weeks on with 1 week off every month basis.
As we have learned since it’s launch in 2024, this is so much more than a writing space. Together we co-create:
A circle.
A sanctuary.
A community.
A brave space.
Support. For self as well as each other.
Who is this space for?

Not therapy in the traditional sense
Not a performance writing group
Not toxic positivity
Not a space where you have to share

How does a space of this nature sound and feel to you?
What you will need
Pad & pen to write or technology device to type
Zoom (you can download the app for free if you don’t have it already)
Clear space for an hour and fifteen minutes
Water/yogi tea
Optional - 3 candles to light
The cost
An hour and a quarter for each session if you stay for the full duration.
Putting aside any ideas or judgements you may have around not being a writer or not feeling good enough.
Join us for the first session or 2 for free, get a feel for the space in the first instance and then decide if it’s just what you’ve been searching for.
£26 per month // £156 per year.
The intention is to take you on a journey and so the annual membership is recommended.
Annually, one session a week is £4.88. £2.44 if you make both.
Monthly, each weekly session is £9.76 or £4.88 if you join us both times.

This writing circle is all about you having your needs met, feeling supported, being held with the freedom to arrive as you are and leave when you feel ready/need to.
Here, in this space we can make up our own rules, set our own boundaries and dip in and out of each session in a way that nurtures and nourishes.

I see it in my practice all the time.
We are SO much more than physical beings... and when we access what is occurring or being stored on an emotional/subconscious/psychological level, often we can achieve a healing breakthrough.
Pain is often the body screaming out for us to address what lies beneath the surface. The hidden stuff.
